Thread-U-Cation

Your production team tells you they need to sew 100,000 bags and they are wanting to know the difference between 12/5 and 13/4 yarn.  Someone also asked you if the thread has a “Z” twist or an “S” twist.  Don’t panic!   1. Raw material—cotton, polyester, poly/cotton
  2. Ply—singles or plied
  3. Thread size—12.00 poly/cotton; 12 and 13 polyester
  4. Number of plies—2 ply up to 6 ply
  5. Package Size—8 oz., 2.5 lb., 5 lb., 20 lb. cones
